Dowth Hall to be sold at auction

The first major auction of the year will take place this Thursday January 31st when Knight Frank put Dowth Hall in Drogheda, Co Meath under the hammer.

The manor house, which has a guide price of €3.75m, is set on a 420-acre site and will be offered in three lots, the smallest of which is 32 acres.

The residence is being offered with 388 acres along with four estate lodges and two farmyards.

The main house features some fine plasterwork and its accommodation includes six bedrooms and four reception rooms – but it needs upgrading.

The auction will take place at 3pm on Thursday at Knight Frank’s offices at 8-34 Percy Place, Dublin 4.
