Allsop Space increase sales tally by 225% year-on-year

Following their two auctions in the RDS last week, Allsop Space have revealed that they have sold more than €270 million worth of commercial and residential property this year.

That represents a massive 225% increase on their 2013 figure of €83 million.

Last week saw the company host its first separate day commercial and residential auctions. Of the 112 properties to go under the hammer at the commercial auction on Tuesday, 86% were sold for a total of €29m while 87% of the 198 residential lots were sold on Thursday, achieving €23m.

What was perhaps noteworthy about the auction was a largely that usual number of properties selling prior to auction and in excess of their reserve ranges. These included prime investments in larger cities around the country with good rental incomes.
