The list was published on March 21st and sees a massive reduction from the 43,000 houses that were exempt from last year’s household charge.
The number of developments exempt from last year’s household charge was 1,322 but this has dropped to 421 developments.
Cork has the most exemptions with 70 developments excluded from having to pay the household charge while the likes of Dublin and Offaly have just one exemption, with the infamous Priory Hall development being the only development excluded from the new property tax in the capital.
The new tax is due to come into effect from July.
The deadline for paper returns is May 7th, while online returns can be made until May 28th.
The tax is calculated on the value of the property and is self-assessed by the owner.
A guide to the property tax can be read here.
