The MyHome app, which allows you to search for residential, rental, commercial or holiday home properties, is one of 27 apps included on the new device, along with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google Maps and The Irish Times and is the only one focused on Irish property.
The Horizon box is a revolutionary new product which acts as a home hub for all wireless devices, telephone, internet, apps and TV - effectively turning nearly any TV or device into a smart TV.
The device features a newly designed user interface and offers users the ability to record up to four programmes at once while still watching a fifth.
Horizon TV comes with over 80 SD channels, plus an additional 19 HD at no additional cost, while programmes can be accessed across multiple devices, including laptop, iPad or iPhone.
On top of this, Horizon comes with 100mb broadband all in the one tidy box, with the Horizon Essential Bundle.
Speaking following the launch, MyHome.ie managing director Angela Keegan said she was hugely impressed with the new technology.
"Horizon is certainly an exciting new product and I'm sure people will be very anxious to get their hands on it once they see all its capabilities.
"We are delighted to have MyHome.ie's service included on the new device and this will allow people to browse our extensive range of properties from the comfort of their living room at any time of the day or night," said Ms Keegan.
You can find out more about Horizon on the UPC website, where there is an introductory offer of €50 per month for new customers.
