
A stud farm in Co Kildare sold at auction recently for €732,000, well in excess of its €650,000 guide price.
The dormer bungalow on 20 acres at Castlewarden, between Straffan and the M7 motorway, attracted interest from three parties according to auctioneers Coonan REA.
The farm was sold to a business from the Kildare area with equestrian interests.
The 20ac are all in grass and contain a 3.5-furlong gallop, lunging ring and 12 stables in an American barn-style building.

The residence consists of sitting room, dining room, kitchen, lounge and conservatory with four bedrooms and a main bedroom upstairs.
