An unfinished housing estate in Co Carlow will be auctioned off on Thursday November 8th with a guide price of €495,000.
The Friars Lough estate in Leighlinbridge will be put under the hammer by REA Sothern with the sale including a mix of eight substantially complete detached houses, foundations for a further six detached houses and undeveloped land with planning permission for a further 42 units, which will expire in 2015.
A total of 16 house have already been sold off in the estate and these were originally selling for €350,000 to €400,000 depending on the type.
Similar houses, fully complete would today be expected to sell for €175,000 to €210,000 depending on type.
