The most viewed properties on MyHome's Instagram in 2025

It’s that time of the year where we reflect on the 12 months just gone.

2025 was another big one for MyHome with many new innovations throughout the year, including new look brochure pages, a new Android and iOS app and an industry-first in Ireland AI search tool which will only get better in 2026.

Before we close the book on 2025, however, it’s that time of the year where we look back on our 10 most viewed properties of the year.

This year we decided to break things down by three categories: most viewed on the website, most viewed on Facebook and most viewed on Instagram.

Without question the biggest surprise package of the year was Scariff Cottage – a 2 bed cottage along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way within walking distance of the famed Bealtra Bay Beach and just 2.5km from Caherdaniel village in Co Kerry. This exploded on social media when it came on the market via REA Coyne & Culloty in February and finished the year as MyHome’s most viewed property on both Facebook and Instagram, as well as the second most viewed on the website itself. While the property had a €525,000 asking price, it quickly went sale agreed in early April, with the sale going through for 17.7% above this at €618,000 in June.
