MyHome's most viewed properties of 2024

The stunning Fortwilliam Estate in Glencairn, Lismore was the most viewed listing on property website MyHome in 2024.

The magnificent agricultural and sporting estate, which sits on almost 400 acres, went on the market via joint selling agents Knight Frank and Michael H Daniels at the end of May.

The historic property was initially being sold in three potential lots. Lot 1 was Fortwilliam House with 117 hectares (289.12 acres) and had an asking price of €10 million. Lot 2 was is the agricultural lands, comprising 41.01 hectares (101.33 acres) and had an asking price of €2,000,000. You could have also purchased the entire estate, including Fortwilliam House and its 158.01 hectares (390.45 acres) for €12 million.

However, with agricultural lands comprising 70.5 hectares (173.93 acres) having recently gone sale agreed, Lot 1 is now all that is available. This includes Fortwilliam House with 87.5 hectares (216 acres) with the selling agents now inviting offers in excess of €7 million for it.
