An unfinished housing estate in County Carlow sold at auction this afternoon for €640,000.
Between 25-30 people made their way to auctioneer DNG’s headquarters in Ranelagh to see the Glendale Estate on the Shillelagh Road in Tullow go under the hammer.
The partially completed development comprises 63 houses at varying stages of internal finish and 58 sites. The development, which is on a 14 acre site, had an AMV of €150,000 but sold for over four times that in the end.
