Townshend sets up Dublin agency

Edward Townshend, who has handled the valuations and sale of some of the finest country estates, homes and farms over the past 20 years, has set up his own Dublin-based agency Townshend Auctioneers.

He previously held senior auctioneering positions in Colliers International (formerly Jackson-Stops), Hamilton Osborne King and James Adams and Sons.

Townsend sees some good potential in the current market.

“There will always be buyers for unique properties if promoted the right way,” he says.

“The Irish property market still has appeal among local, national and indeed international buyers and I am delighted to assist property owners in getting the best return from their property.”
