Should I give my tenants a TV?

Generally landlords do not provide televisions to tenants (except at the top end of the market or for corporate lets).

Providing a television brings the associated problems of breakdowns and repairs.  There is also the requirement for a TV licence to be considered.

In a weak rental market some landlords may choose to provide a television in order to rent the property quicker or to achieve a slightly higher rent.
