The New York City apartment which featured as Carrie Bradshaw’s home in the Sex and the City series has sold for $9.85 million (€7.5 million).
64 Perry Street is one of the Big Apple’s most iconic homes because of its regular appearances in the hit HBO show, which starred Sarah Jessica Parker.
Located in the West Village district, the five bedroom brownstone townhouse where Carrie lived sold for £6.1 million recently according to the New York Observer, having originally been listen with Sotheby’s in March for €7.3 million.
Although the home where Carrie wrote her column was set in a studio, the exterior of 64 Perry Street featured in both Sex and the City films and all six series of the show.
This is the second time 64 Perry Street has been sold in under a year. The recent vendors only bought the property in November 2011 for €6.8 million and 'flipped' it for quick profit.
Neighbours include Sarah Jessica Parker herself who owns a similar brownstone house nearby.
Carrie Bradshaw is set to return to screens later this year in Sex And The City prequel 'The Carrie Diaries'. Set in the Eighties, the series, which stars Anna Sophia Robb as the young Bradshaw, focuses on how the four friends, Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda first met.
