Second phase of Robswall development in Malahide to launch this weekend after successful festive launch

It was always going to be a gamble trying to entice people away from the turkey and the telly to view houses the day after St Stephen’s Day. But it seems to have paid off for Hollybrook Homes who brought more than 200 people through the doors of their new development of two-, three- and four-beds at Robswall in Malahide on Saturday, December 27th.

And they weren’t tyre-kickers either. Selling agents Knight Frank report that they took eight deposits on the day and a further six deposits were secured early last week.

“We sold 14 of the 22 houses in phase one and there were around 225-250 people there. We had kept them informed since last August about what was happening and there was a lot of interest from abroad so the idea of a Christmas launch was to facilitate people coming home,” says selling agent, Jackie Horan.

The second phase of the A-rated houses will launch this Saturday and Sunday from 2pm-4pm .

“This will be our public launch now and the first time we have properly advertised the houses. There will be 23 homes in phase two and we’re cautiously optimistic they will generate plenty of interest given their quality.”

Prices start at €395,000 for the two-bedroom houses (86sq m/926sq ft), from €420,000 for the three-bedroom houses and from €635,000 for the four-bedroom houses – an increase of €5,000 on each from the pre-Christmas price. The houses will be available to live in from June.
