Rent to Buy Scheme at Northern Cross Malahide Road

Rent or to buy that is the question? Well if you can"t commit to buying or can't decide whether to buy an apartment right now, Northern Cross development on the Malahide road is offering a rent to buy scheme.

On offer is a mix of 15 one bed and two bed apartments. A one bed apartment will cost you €195,000 or €950 per month and a two ... bed is €235,000 or €1,050 a month. At the end of the two years you will have the option to buy the apartment and the rent paid will go towards the purchase price of the apartment. So if you do the maths if you pay rent on a bed over two years you will accumulate €25,200!

This is a pretty good deal considering that I am currently paying €1,100 for a two bed apartment and am not part of a rent to buy scheme! So in two years I won't have the option to buy and will have paid out €26,400 in rent! Eek! Maybe I should take a look at Northern Cross Malahide road?
