That's the good news. The bad news is that Croatia isn't the easiest place in the world to get to from Ireland. You can fly to just two destinations in Croatia, Dubrovnik and Zadar, and only from Dublin. Off-season flights can be hard to come by, and not many airlines fly the Dublin/Croatia route.
The upside of all that, of course, is that the place isn't over-run with Irish tourists! And you can always fly to Italy and take a boat or train from there.
