That’s according to a poll of over 100 people conducted by MyHome.ie as part of the relaunch of our Property On View guide.
We asked readers whether they preferred an open viewing. 67% said they did, 20% said they didn’t mind either way, while just 18% said they preferred to book an appointment.
The poll also found that 67% felt more relaxed at an open viewing. 18% said they felt no different while 15% said they didn’t feel more relaxed at an open viewing.

Meanwhile, a massive 91% said they would like to see a wider range of properties being made available for viewing, while a further 32% said they had previously bought or know someone who had bought having attended an open viewing.
