Onsite College Accommodation

Eden Hall Student Accommodation Cork City
Most of the bigger colleges around the country have onsite accommodation. While this is called "onsite accommodation" bookings and payments are usually made directly to the management company of the apartments.

Cost and payment methods will vary from college to college. The cost will also depend on the type of apartment / room that you want i.e. Standard single, ... Single Ensuite, Double ensuite, Twin Standard, Twin ensuite etc. Price ranges per academic year can be between €2,700 and €5,000 and most payments are usually made in two installments i.e. one at the beginning of the year and one half way through the college year.

College accommodation is very popular as it is situated quite close by to the college and bus routes, it"s a great way live with friends and also a great way to meet some new friends. They are also designed for comfort, study and of course the odd party! It is advisable to book early on in the summer months before the start of the college year.

However college accommodation has its faults, noise can be a problem, payment upfront can be expensive and a lot of complexes have fixed leases and rent is non-refundable.
