New cinema on the way to Dublin's Docklands

A new cinema is set to open close to Dublin’s Docklands before March.

According to The Irish Times, Point Pictures will open near the O2, offering up to 12 cinema screens and the capacity to host international premieres.

Cinema owner Harry Crosbie said it will employ 75 people upon completion and the cinema will target local audiences.

Packages will be offered to those going to the O2 and the Grand Canal Theatre, along with those who are staying in the Gibson Hotel.
