More than 600,000 have still not paid the household charge

More than 600,000 people have yet to pay the €100 household charge.

The latest figures from the Department of the Environment show that so far, more than 940,000 people have paid the controversial €100 tax.

The figures also show that fewer than 25,000 homeowners have paid the charge since the March 31st deadline.
