Merlin, best known up until now for their car auctions, held their first auction in the Burlington Hotel last November – an event that was covered by RTÉ.
Now though they have teamed up with West Dublin auctioneers Murphy Mullan and the pair have put together a catalogue featuring 20 lots, made up of 16 residential properties and four commercial properties.
Amongst the highlights of the auction are a three bedroom bungalow in Co Cavan with an advised minimum value (AMV) of €58,000, our bed homes in Carlow and Meath with AMVs of €100,000, a pub in Athy, Co Kildare with an AMV of €190,000 and an industrial unit in the Cookstown Industrial Estate in Tallaght and a snooker hall in Monkstown, both with an AMV of €250,000.
Also expected to garner plenty of interest is a six bed semi-detached home in Finglas with planning permission for two three bed detached bungalows, which has an AMV of €220,000 and three bedroom lodges in Connemara, with AMVs starting at €55,000.
There are also superb homes in Magney, Co Laois and Monasterevin, Co Kildare that have advised minimum values of €80,000 and a three bed terraced home in Bailieborough, Co Cavan, with an AMV of €70,000.
Finally there are four bed bungalows in Wexford and Galway, which would make superb family homes, that have AMVs of €200,000 and €78,000 respectively, as well as a Victorian residence in Youghal, Co Cork, which has an AMV of €250,000.
