Lisney open new Leeson Street office

After a long wait, Lisney is delighted to announce the opening of its new residential office at 103 Upper Leeson Street. Heading into the city centre on the N11, it is the first building on the divide between Leeson Street and Sussex Road. It is directly opposite the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel (former Burlington) and was previously Bank of Ireland.

James Nugent, Managing Director of Lisney said: “After 40 years at 24 St Stephen’s Green, we relocated our HQ to a larger premises on Earlsfort Terrace in February. This move meant that we lost our ground floor retail presence in the city centre. As such, we were on the lookout for a replacement and about 18 months ago we spotted the former Bank of Ireland building on Leeson Street, which had been empty for a number of years. We believed this was an ideal location for a new office and started the process of acquiring the building.

"In the last few months, we have spent about €250,000 fitting-out and upgrading the premises. This included adding a new glazed entrance on to the front of the property, landscaping work and a complete overhaul of the interior. We are still waiting on planning permission to finish off the works and the blue Bank of Ireland panels beneath the windows will be replaced shortly. Inside, the space is very contemporary and probably not what some people would expect from Lisney!

"We are delighted with the location and the building’s unrivalled profile. It is effectively a billboard for the Lisney brand and will catch the attention of those driving in and out of the city centre on the N11 daily. Additionally, it will anchor us between the up-market areas of Ballsbridge and Ranelagh, whilst also having the benefit of remaining close to the city centre and our office on Earlsfort Terrace. The opening of this new office forms a part of a wider expansion of Lisney’s residential business. We will be expanding to new locations in the short-term as well as refurbishing our existing offices.”
