The company has claimed that the launch of KPM in Galway is also as a direct result of complaints from property owners in Galway about the high costs of their annual service charges.
According to a recent survey of over 50 Galway developments, owners pay an average of 25% higher service charges than property owners in other parts of the country, including Dublin.
KPM already has offices in Dublin and Cork.
Commenting on the launch of KPM into the Galway market, Managing Director Brian Keenan told the Galway Independent that limited competition in the Galway market has resulted in many property owners paying excessive annual service charges.
“Customers are looking for value in the current climate, not the high property fees associated with the Celtic Tiger era and this will only come about with more competition. Our aim is to offer more value to suffering Galway property owners by driving down costs and, in the process, we plan to create much-needed jobs for this city,” he said.
