Kavanagh's Mews can provide you with plenty of romance this Valentine's Day

Being St Valentine’s Day our thoughts naturally turn to romance.

There are few things more romantic than poetry and one of our finest poets over the years was Patrick Kavanagh.

Although better known for his association with Inniskeen in Co Monaghan, Kavanagh lived for a time in Baggot Lane in Dublin 4.

Indeed, his former home, Kavanagh Mews, is currently on the market to let for €1,000 a month.

The two-bed house is available on a six month lease and is described as a fine gated and private mews property.

Another home that could provide plenty of romance is the dragon-gated Harlech House in Goatstown.

This stunning eight bed home is on the market at present with Sherry FitzGerald Dundrum for €2.35m.

While that may be out of most people’s price range, it is certainly worth dreaming about considering its many stunning features.
