Jim Sheridan's Dalkey home up for rent

THE Dalkey home of Irish film director Jim Sheridan is up for rent.

Martha’s Vineyard, the seafront home on Coliemore Road, is up for letting with Dundrum-based estate agent Vincent Finnegan for €7,000 a month.

The property had been for sale in recent years but now the six time Academy Award nominee has decided to rent the property out on a 12 month lease.

Potential renters will get the chance to live like a star in the home of the director of classics such as ‘My Left Foot’ and ‘In the Name of the Father’.

The ultra modernist property is perched on the rocks beside Coliemore Harbour with one of the finest vistas that Dublin has to offer.

It features a wide range of celebrity extras including a home cinema, outdoor swimming pool, a steam room, sauna and spa bath and two kitchems.

There are four double bedrooms (three en-suite), all of which open onto patios with breathtaking sea views over Dalkey sound to the Muglins and Dalkey Island.
