A Kerry hotel has been sold to Irish hotel investment fund, iNUA Hospitality.

The 5 star Muckross Park Hotel, previously owned by Bill Cullen and Jackie Lavin, sold for an estimated €6.5 million.

The hotel has won many awards including Tripadvisor Top 15 Luxury Hotels in Ireland 2014 and was chosen as Munster Wedding Venue of the Year 2012 by Southern Bride due to the uniqueness of the venue.

The Muckross Park has three banqueting suites, 68 bedrooms, two bars, a restaurant and spa facilities.

The sale was handled by DTZ Sherry Fitzgerald.
