Houses prices up 3.6% according to Sherry FitzGerald

House prices have increased by 3.6% so far this year led by big hikes in Dublin, according to estate agents Sherry Fitzgerald.

The latest figures suggest the property market is stabilising nationally as excluding Dublin, prices increased by slightly more than half of one percent since January.
The big gains were in Dublin, where prices have increased by 6% in 2013 so far, according to the report.
It said house prices in Dublin are up by 11% over the past 12 months - double the rate nationally.
