Hargaden appointed new Lisney chair

Ann Hargaden has been appointed chairperson of the Lisney estate agency, according to a report in today’s Irish Times.

A key adviser for many years in the Irish commercial property market, Ann has been working with Lisney for 28 years.

Despite the slowdown in the investment market in 2011, Ann and her team were involved in about €110 million worth of investment transactions, representing almost 65% in value of all transactions during the year.

She was previously a member of the Valuation Tribunal and was the first and only woman to hold the position of president of the Society of Chartered Surveyors in its 100 year history.
