George Best's former home goes on the market

The former home of football legend George Best has gone on the market for £375,000 (€480,000).

The luxury four bedroom detached home in Portavogie, Northern Ireland, was Best’s home with his wife Alex prior to his death at the age of 59 in 2005.

The home on the Co Down coast overlooks the Irish Sea and features a garage that he converted into a games room.

Best’s widow Alex recently described the home as “absolutely perfect.”
