Entries sought for Connacht Property Auction in March

The Connacht Property Auction is now taking entries for its next public auction, which will be held on 26th March in the Clayton Hotel, Galway.

After a successful November auction where 22 out of the 27 properties were sold, the auction team has experienced a surge of interest from both property owners and buyers alike. The company does not charge admission or marketing fees to enter the auction, making it very appealing to property owners to sell. The company also offers an online auction system where all bids are made visible on their website www.connachtpropertyauction.ie, making the bidding process easy and transparent for all parties.

“One of the key elements to the success of The Connacht Property Auction is the partnership of estate agents who work together to ensure maximum interest in the properties” says Patrick Folan from The Connacht Property Auction.

“Working in close partnership with over 30 established auctioneering firms, we ensure the property is advertised and promoted in all the right papers, websites and property portals to ensure we find buyers for each property”.

The company is currently working with a host of auctioneers including Michael Ryder (Tuam), Lyons Bracken (Athenry), Spencer Auctioneers (Oughterard), Michael Cunningham Auctioneers (Gort), Matt O Sullivan (Clifden), Keary Auctioneers (Loughrea), Paddy Keane (Ballinasloe), Arthur & Lees (Ennis) and Considine's (Kilrush) amongst others.

The Connacht Property Auction is inviting property owners who are looking to sell their property without any upfront costs to contact the auction team and arrange for a free property valuation.

Before any property comes to the market, the auction team will agree a minimum reserve figure with the vendor - giving the property owner total control over their minimum walk-away figure. Bidding can also continue past the reserve price until the highest bidder has secured the property, meaning the property owner will walk away with fair market value for their property.

“There is certainly a shift in the property market over the last few months and property transactions have improved vastly,” added Mr Folan.

“Since the turn of the year, we have sold several properties through our online auction system with in excess of 20 bids received. This shows confidence is coming back into the market and buyers are willing to put their best foot forward.

“We expect strong interest again at the March auction and we are advising property owners to contact us early in February to allow us to begin the marketing process to find buyers for their properties.”

Contact The Connacht Property Auction on 091 882 121 to arrange for a free property valuation or for more information visit www.connachtpropertyauction.ie. Their next public auction takes place on 26 March, in the Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit at 7pm. Registration starts at 6.30pm.
