Drumm's Abington home finally sells for €1.34m

The former home of ex-Anglo Irish Bank chief executive David Drumm has finally sold after over three years on the market.

His six bed detached house at 20 Abington, Malahide, Co Dublin originally went on the market in July 2009 for €3 million.

Having been on and off the market in recent years, it was put back on the market earlier this year for €1.65 million with estate agents North’s Property.

However, according to the latest data on the Property Price Register the house sold on November 2nd for €1,341,111.

While that figure is slightly more than the €1.3 million achieved for 44 Abington in July it is less than the €1.5 million that pop star Ronan Keating earned for his house in the exclusive development earlier this year.
