The annual conference of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers (IPAV) takes place in the Powerscourt Hotel, Resort & Spa this Saturday.
On the day Brian Dempsey of DNG Stillorgan (above left) will succeed Alan Redmond of Redmond Auctioneers in Swords, Co Dublin (above right) as the new president of the organisation.
It has been a successful year in the role for Mr Redmond and he will outline the various developments made throughout his presidency in his outgoing address.
Incoming president Mr Dempsey will outline his thoughts on the current state of the property market and his plans for his tenure as president.
