A County Louth farm recently sold for around half a million euro.
Marley Farm in Grangebellew – between Dunleer and Clogherhead in the south east of the county – was sold through agents Colliers.
While the asking price for the property was €550,000, a spokesperson for Colliers confirmed that it had been sold for a price “in the region of €500,000.”
The property, which was sold with 2.5 acres, generated a huge amount of interest with over 30 viewings and five offers before it was finally sold.
A spokesperson for Colliers said: “Most of the interest was from the mid Louth area, obviously looking for attractive, well maintained property on some land in that area, that was well priced.
“So I am desperately looking for more houses like Marley to satisfy this demand in the area,” said the spokesperson.
