Cork-based estate agent Hodnett Forde Property Services will auction off two properties early next month.
The auction on Thursday August 2nd comprises a small residential farm in the Mealagh Valley and a 3.5 acre site on the edge of Bantry Town.
The latter is located close to Bantry Business Park with auctioneer John Hodnett insisting it would be suited to a multitude of uses.
The guide price is in the region of €15,000.
Meanwhile, the 22-acre grazing farm at Coomleigh West includes a two bed farmhouse in fairly good condition.
The farm has 27 acres of what is described as good pasture, is south-facing with good road frontage and the fields are securely fenced. Commonage rights attached to the land comprise a one-third share of 41 acres of grazing land nearby and according to Hodnett, ‘the land that’s good is good land’. The residence is a traditional stone built farmhouse. The entire property has a guide price of €250,000 to €300,000.
The auction for both properties will take place on Thursday August 2nd at 3pm in the Westlodge Hotel in Bantry.
