Clematis is a cure for unsightly cement walls in the garden!
Clematis Montana Tetrarose and Clematis Lincoln Star

Are you sick of looking at unpainted cement walls in your garden? This year we have planted 2 types of clematis plants behind a long (dull and grey!) wall:

  1. Clematis Montana Tetrarose (Flowers late spring early Summer)
  2. Clematis Lincoln Star (Flowers Early to late summer)

Our plan and hope is that the Clematis will grow over the wall and within a short few ... years the walls will be hidden forever with an abundance of beautiful flowers. It"s great as we have only planted them recently and they have already started coming over the wall!

My Clematis Growing Tip: With Clematis plants you need to water well and regularly in the first year after planting. The best type of soil for clematis plants should be good, well drained but also nicely moist.
