Central Bank warns against unauthorised firms

The Central Bank of Ireland has warned against two unauthorised investment firms operating in Ireland.

The bank said the firms were "not authorised" to operate as investment firms in Ireland.

"Goff Private Equity Limited is not authorised as an investment firm in the State and is claiming or holding itself out to be an investment firm in the State," the Central Bank said in a statement.

"Talisman Finance is not authorised as an investment firm in the State and has been offering investment services to members of the Irish public," it added.
