Blackrock home sells for 50% above its reserve price

A three bed detached home in Blackrock, Co Dublin has sold for almost 50% above its reserve price at auction.

Lugano, 10 Woodbine Road, in Blackrock went under the hammer last Wednesday with a reserve of €600,000. In the end though, estate agents Lisney managed to secure €895,000 for the 108sqm property – 49.2% above its reserve.

Following on from that sale, Lisney will auction another three bed home not too far away at 38 Mather Road North, Mount Merrion, on March 21^st.

It will have a reserve of €650,000.
