The event will take place at the bank’s Patrick Street branch where staff will be giving step-by-step advice to people about how they can apply for a mortgage.
There will also be expert advice from local auctioneers, estate agents and architects.
The event is free of charge and everyone is invited to come along on the day.
Meanwhile, Bank of Ireland has expanded its popular 1% Stamp Duty offer to include those moving house and have also extended the offer until December 31st 2014.
Another new development from Bank of Ireland is their 'House-hunter mortgage approval' where customers are given full approval for a mortgage amount – before they have settled on a suitable property. This allows them to search for their new home with the confidence that the finance is in place. The approval remains valid for a full six months.
The bank are approving eight out of every 10 mortgage applications at present and in most cases can provide mortgage approval within 24 hours.
