Almost a quarter don't expect property market to hit rock bottom until 2014 or 2015

Almost a quarter of people do not believe that the property market will bottom out until either 2014 or 2015.

Our Friday Feedback post asked people when they thought the market would hit rock bottom, with over 700 people responding to the survey.

Of that, 24% said they expected property prices to bottom out in two to three years. Despite that relative optimism, a further 21% said they did not believe the market would hit rock bottom until sometime between 2020 and 2025.

The same amount (21%) said they believed that property prices would bottom out next year, with 19% insisting that it would occur sometime between 2015 and 2020.
