AIB prepare new set of plans to help struggling mortgage holders

AIB has come up with a new set of plans to help homeowners struggling to pay their mortgages.

Today’s Irish Times revealed that an internal email to staff detailed plans of identifying those in difficulty and providing them with longer-term solutions.

Amongst those possible solution include a split mortgage, a negative equity trade down, a voluntary sale of the property or short-term forbearance.
