Horsey Homes!

The Cheltenham Festival gets underway next Tuesday and to mark the occasion MyHome have decided to look at some of the houses currently for sale that would suit those interested in horse racing or other equestrian activities.

The horse racing industry is worth millions to the Irish economy each year and we pride ourselves on the success of both our breeding and our jockeys.

Ireland might be one of the world’s smaller nations but the Coolmore Stud in Tipperary, for example, is the world’s largest thoroughbred stud farm.

Some of the top trainers in the world reside here including Dermot Weld, Willie Mullins, Jessica Harrington and Aidan O’Brien while our jockeys are also highly rated the world over.

With top venues such as Punchestown, The Curragh, Leopardstown and Galway, to name but a few, it is little surprise that a large portion of the Irish public are fascinated by the equine sport.
