Electric Ireland Superhomes

Electric Ireland Superhomes is an SEAI approved One Stop Shop provider. They look after all aspects of your home energy retrofit, from applying for the appropriate SEAI grants to overseeing your complete retrofit project from design through to completion.

Their mission is to guide homeowners towards warmer, healthier, and more energy-efficient homes, thereby contributing to Ireland's national climate targets.

They offer a tailored service to meet the unique needs of homeowners across Ireland. Their in-house team of experienced retrofit advisors, experts, and engineers conducts all services. Their aim is to make your home warmer, more comfortable, and energy-efficient, resulting in reduced carbon emissions.

Importantly Electric Ireland Superhomes assist you in accessing the very best energy upgrade grants provided by SEAI.

Whole House Retrofit

This service was specifically designed for houses constructed before 2005, aiming to improve their BER. Beginning with a comprehensive home survey. This enables them to gather detailed information about your home and tailor a retrofit plan accordingly. They also provide you with a fully costed Energy Report outlining the best value-for-money energy upgrades for your entire home. The installation of an air source heat pump, which serves as a core element, may be complemented by improvements like wall & attic insulation, windows, airtightness, advanced ventilation and Solar PV, which they advise you on.

Heat Pump +

Designed for houses constructed from 2005 – 2010, their approach involves conducting a thorough assessment of your home to create a customised heat pump plus plan. This solution will typically involve the installation of a state-of-the-art heat pump heating system, combined with basic insulation measures and the ability to generate your own electricity through Solar PV.

Consultancy Service

If your contractor or architect is a registered retrofit partner of Electric Ireland Superhomes, a consultancy service that combines a home energy upgrade with significant home improvements, such as renovations, extensions, or attic conversions can be offered. Their team works directly with your architects and contractors to integrate the energy upgrade. This approach allows collaboration between experts to create a warmer, cosier home.

Large Scale Housing Providers

Electric Ireland Superhomes also offer a consultancy service to Local Authorities (LAs), Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) and Non-Corporate Landlords.

How Electric Ireland Superhomes do it

Electric Ireland Superhomes engage leading contractors and experienced retrofit specialists to offer you expert guidance through this often complex process. Their retrofit specialists aim to provide homeowners with peace of mind and quality assurance. They believe that the best way to create a comfortable, healthy, and low-carbon home is by retrofitting the entire house with a renewable energy heat pump. In an Electric Ireland Superhome, insulation, air-tightness, advanced ventilation and a retrofit specialist designed heating system work perfectly together to deliver the best possible energy system for your home.
