MyHome and Doddl.ie launch new end-to-end Mortgage Hub

Property portal MyHome and digital mortgage platform Doddl.ie have launched Mortgage Hub, the first service in Ireland to support buyers from initial property search right through to getting their keys.

The launch comes as mortgage demand reaches unprecedented levels. Figures from the Banking and Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI) show €16.7 billion in mortgage approvals in the year to August 2025.

Meanwhile, the Central Statistics Office (CSO) has reported the median age of Irish buyers at 40, with joint purchases now making up the majority of transactions as affordability on a single income becomes increasingly out of reach.

A new KPMG survey commissioned by Doddl.ie found the biggest pain points for buyers are the length of approval, complex paperwork, and delays in conveyancing.

The Mortgage Hub aims to tackle these frustrations by bringing tools and guidance together in one place - from a repayment calculator to assess affordability, to clear, practical advice and an efficient online mortgage application platform with integrated digital conveyancing.

“Knowledge is power and with more mortgage-ready buyers entering the market and supply remaining constrained, would-be homeowners need to arm themselves with as many tools as possible,” said Martina Hennessy, CEO of Doddl.ie.

“This partnership with MyHome offers home buyers in Ireland an end-to-end service that spans the entire home-buying journey – home search, mortgage advice, and digital conveyancing.

“For a generation of digital-first buyers, the ultimate aim is to simplify and demystify the process and help them secure a home as efficiently as possible.”

Joanne Geary, Managing Director of MyHome said that researching, planning and securing a mortgage is a long and often difficult process.

‘We want to do everything we can to make it easier and the Mortgage Hub gives people all the information they need in one clear and accessible place.”

Broadcaster Muireann O’Connell, who purchased her home earlier this year with the help of Doddl.ie, was on hand to launch the service.

“There were days I thought we’d never get a house. I felt defeated and clueless about mortgages and the process. Doddl changed that after one call. They made everything so simple – their online portal stored our documents, kept track of what we needed to update, while giving the reassurance we needed to keep going. Honestly, they believed it would happen when I didn’t.”
