It’s the biggest date in domestic football’s calendar this weekend as the Sports Direct FAI Cup final takes place at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
This year’s final sees Derry City face off against Drogheda Utd, a side who have only won the Cup once in their history back in 2005.
The Co Louth town has been buzzing all week in preparation for the final and there is sure to be many celebrations in store if Kevin Doherty’s side managed to leave Dublin 4 with the trophy on Sunday evening.
As well as a prospering young side, Drogheda is a town with so much else going for it and has become a major satellite town and commuter base in recent years with excellent rail and bus links to Dublin.
Given the Boyneside town is in focus this weekend, we’ve decided to join in on that and have been looking at five of the best properties for sale in Drogheda right now.
