SEAI is Ireland's national sustainable energy authority. They work with householders, businesses, communities and government to create a cleaner energy future. With Ireland's energy targets in mind, SEAI encourages Irish citizens to contribute by offering retrofit grants, supports, and advice to enhance home energy efficiency. These grants, combined with the Vacant Property Refurbishment grant, make home renovations more affordable.
What are the SEAI Energy Grants and Upgrade Options?
SEAI offer 3 energy upgrade options:
National Home Energy Upgrade Scheme:
The National Home Energy Upgrade Scheme provides homeowners with a complete energy solution for their home. This grant is managed by a One Stop Shop service provider, such as Electric Ireland Superhomes.
Better Energy Homes and Solar PV: This scheme supports homeowners who wish to manage your own home energy upgrade from planning to grant applications.
Warmer Homes Scheme: This scheme enables homeowners in receipt of some Government welfare payments to avail of fully funded energy upgrades to their homes.
