Ever wonder why you need a mortgage intermediary?

Alison Fearon from Switcheroo.ie provides a simple chart that explains the current mortgage market

The answer is here in this simple chart:

The blue line represents the minimum rates (average LTV) for different fixed periods that are available to a customer who does not use a mortgage intermediary.

The red line represents the minimum rates (average LTV) for different fixed periods that are available to a customer who does use a mortgage intermediary.

There are three very important takeaways from this chart

1.    If you use a mortgage intermediary (like Switcheroo.ie), you will have access to cheaper rates across all product terms

2.    If you use a mortgage intermediary (like Switcheroo.ie), you will have access to longer term fixed rates.

3.    A number of mortgage intermediary’s (like Switcheroo.ie) have access to both the redline and the blue line

What’s the catch? No catch, it’s a free service and we are regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

Check out our calculator to see what rates are available for your needs.

Register today to get access to more, cheaper, and longer fixed rates.
