We are into day 7 of our Rathfarnham garden-landscaping project and we are focusing on completing the routing of all services in the garden i.e. the cabling for the lighting and water, both of which will run underneath the top patio and through the raised beds.
Making good use of the rainwater for irrigating the planting in the raised beds, we have ¬piped any run off rainwater from the roof of the house that is captured in the gully through to the raised beds.
We also managed to get started on laying parts of the patio i.e. both the top platform, which is were the early morning sun will shine, and at the opposite end of the garden getting the most of the late afternoon and evening sun, all of which are made up of Indian Sandstone Raveena paving slabs.
